SEMINAR: SEPTEMBER 19TH, 2024

Conflicts around the world are on the rise: to understand what is happening in the main areas affected by international tensions, it is necessary to shift our perspective and observe reality through the strategic lenses of the Great Powers. We can already identify structural changes and global trends leading up to 2040 that are guiding us toward an increasingly contested world. From wars in our near abroad to tensions in Asia, from the imbalance between the Global North and South to the competition to support the energy transition, there are many issues we will discuss at the in-person seminar “GEOPOLITICS: THE MECHANICS OF POWER,” together with Professor Alessandro Pozzi, lecturer of the innovative course Geopolitics for Defense and Security.
