SEMINAR: SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2026

Metal production is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by technological innovation, decarbonisation and sustainability, as well as by a growing focus on people and the quality of working environments.

Feralpi Group and Forge Fedriga, leading companies in the steel industry, provide concrete examples of how a traditional industrial sector can evolve by integrating innovation, environmental and social sustainability, inclusion and well-being.

The seminar, entitled “Industry Beyond Stereotypes. The Future Needs Different Minds”, will offer an opportunity to explore this transformation through a dialogue between industry and academia, addressing the role of people, the value of diversity and the need to overcome stereotypes that are still associated with the world of industrial production.

Through the experiences shared by industry professionals and academics, students will gain practical insights into the new skills required by the sector and discover the opportunities that the modern metals industry can offer to future generations of engineers.
