SEMINAR: JUNE 9TH, 2026
How is it possible to reconstruct a crime scene starting from seemingly chaotic traces? The seminar “Bloodstain Pattern Analysis: technical analysis and reconstruction of the crime scene” addresses this question through Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (BPA), a discipline that studies the shape, distribution, and dynamics of bloodstains.
In this session, Enrico Manieri – ballistic expert and crime scene specialist – will guide participants through a fascinating journey between science and investigation, showing how blood traces can tell a story and help reconstruct the sequence of events. Through concrete examples and clear explanations, the seminar will explore the fundamental principles of BPA, interpretative challenges, and the role of modern technologies in forensic investigations.
