The seminar will feature an extraordinary talk by Francesco Gattei, General Manager and Chief Transition & Financial Officer at ENI.
The event is part of the course “Geopolitics for Defense and Security”, within the master’s programme in Mechanical Engineering – Defense & Security track.
The energy transition is redefining global balances, deeply transforming industry, finance, and geopolitical relations.
In his lecture, Francesco Gattei will discuss the main challenges the West faces in this process: from supply security to new technological and material dependencies, and the impact of climate policies on economic competitiveness.
Combining industrial analysis and strategic vision, the talk will offer a reflection on the role of energy as both a lever of power and a factor of balance in a rapidly changing world.
