SEMINAR: MAY 8TH, 2025

In today’s world, marked by growing conflicts and international tensions, it is essential to shift perspective and interpret events through the strategic lens of Great Powers. From the weakening of the liberal international order—accelerated during the Trump administration—to the fragmentation of historic alliances, new global dynamics are emerging that point toward an increasingly contested world.

In the seminar “GEOPOLITICS: THE MECHANICS OF POWER”, Professor Alessandro Pozzi, lecturer of the innovative course Geopolitics for Defense and Security, will guide us through the analysis of key global hotspots: from wars near Europe’s borders to rising tensions in Asia, from the growing North-South divide to competition around the energy transition.

When: May 8th, 2025
Time: 11 am
Where: Sala Consiglio, Building B23, first floor
