A journey through the evolution of the sensors that have pervaded our daily lives along with an exploration of their applications to achieve high-performance, reliable, smarter and sustainable sensing. Starting from a general understanding of the usage of Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS), the presentation will focus on the adoption of Motion Sensors into the Automotive market and Ultrasonic time of light sensors for consumer applications.
These are the topics that will be discussed with Alberto Marinoni, Sr Director – Automotive Business Unit, and Massimo Mascotto, Director – Emerging Sensors Business Unit, of the MEMS Sensors Business Group during the meeting entitled “LAST 20 years of MEMS: How integrated sensors shaped both consumers and automotive industries“.
